Tri-Storm is a thrill ride with three arms holding seven cars each. The cars are spun around, up and down and are mounted on decorative snowflake shaped rings. Despite its initial low excitement ratings, with a few adjustments can be increase its excitement ratings and the ride can prove, surprisingly, very popular. It is a modestly priced ride and relatively small compared to other thrill rides, making it a good choice if funds are low and you need a crowd drawing ride.
In Real Life[]
Tri-Storm is based on the Troika type of ride developed in the 1970s in Germany and Hungary. The name Troika means 'group of three' in Russian, referring to the three arms, which is referenced in Tri-Storms name. Like their real life counterparts, Tri-Storm's cars are designed in a retro science-fiction style. Troikas are more likely to be seen in permanently placed amusement parks. Due to their weight, they are very unpopular with travelling amusement parks.
